Hey! Welcome to the party!! My name is Piper. I'm a girl in her 20s trying to romanticize life one picture at a time as a Kansas City wedding photographer. I'm a bride-to-be, cat mom & coffee enthusiast. When I'm not behind the camera taking photos, I'm checking out all the local coffee shops, researching the coolest thrift stores to check out, or snuggling my cat, Robbie Rotten (yes, that is his legal name)

I was a high school theatre nerd, so I'm not afraid to project and be loud when needed.
I enjoy traveling! I've been to 13/50 states and I've been outside of the U.S. once, but I'm adding more countries to my list later this fall 😉 I travel all over Kansas, Oklahoma & Missouri in my trust Mini Cooper.
My favorite cuisine is anything from Asia (sushi, ramen, Thai, just to name a few)
My enneagram is a 2w3, so I love being there for my people whenever they need me!
My zodiac sign is a Capricorn ♑️ I'm sweet on the outside, but I know when to be a bossy 🤭
When did you decide to pursue Piper Reese Photography?
I picked up photography over eight years ago during my high school yearbook class. Our class requirement was to shoot sporting events for the yearbook. I fell in love with capturing emotion and trying to learn settings of a digital camera. My family saw this drive in me and decided to gift me my first camera for Christmas, and I haven't put it down since.
After high school, I went to Oklahoma State University and pursued a degree in Multimedia Journalism. I was a part of my university's newspaper, capturing community events and collegiate sports like women's soccer. I worked music festivals, and even accepted a full-time job as a Multimedia Producer for the business school, being the main point of contact for videography & photography. This entailed professional headshots for students & staff members, photographing big events for the school & interviewing the school's figureheads for video features.
In May 2023, I got engaged to my wonderful partner of 4 years and moved from my college town in Oklahoma to the Kansas City Metropolitan. After that, I established for an LLC & Piper Reese Photography was born.
Now, instead of capturing university events, I capture memories for people who are laid back and love to go with the flow, newlyweds who want to remember all the people they love being in once place, and for graduates who want to celebrate this milestone in their life!
One of the reasons I wanted to pursue photography full-time was for my love of meeting people, and telling stories through photographs.
My photography style can be best describe as warm, intimate and romantic with a focus on genuine moments. It feels personal & heartfelt, which is fitting for capturing special moments like weddings and engagements.
